The Barrineau family began the home-design component of their company in the early 1980s, when no business in the state (and few in the region) offered natural stone products for the home. Today, the same holds true.

Inside Outside remains the oldest natural stone countertop fabrication business in the state of Mississippi. During the past 3 decades she has been actively involved in the family business, honing her skills in design as well as project flow and management, Nicole is now the “Boss Lady” and third generation owner/operator.
Nicole is rather OCD and her work is a direct reflection of that. She loves clean lines and minimalistic style, tone-on-tone schemes, and Statuary White Marble is her personal favorite and go-to. You will often see her in the fabrication shop with her eye, and sometimes hands, on a special cut for a client.
Although her work scope has changed, she is still involved with her design team “behind the scenes” rather than the showroom floor.
In her spare time, Nicole relaxes by spending time at home with her dogs Jax, Lex, Luda and Lucky. She loves exercising on her Reformer and Peloton bike, working in her yard and dining at restaurants along the coast with friends and family. When time permits, she enjoys weekends at the beach in Fort Morgan and traveling.

As the driving force behind our commercial sales and business development, Frank combines strategic thinking with a natural ability to connect with people.
A proud graduate of Louisiana State University, he brings a polished yet approachable presence to every client relationship. His sense of humor is well-known—and well-timed—making the process as enjoyable as it is successful.
When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him golfing, fishing, or cooking for family and friends.

Carol Chudy Moore comes to us from the Great American West. She was brought up in a construction environment with an “I can do that,” attitude. Her formal education came through the University of Arizona, Tucson and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she studied Music and Marketing.
Carol’s aptitude for design can be traced to her roots, working for the family house building business, and followed throughout her life as a costume and set designer, salon owner, and kitchen and bath design specialist. Carol has designed and built her own home, worked as a heavy-marine sheet metal mechanic and entertained audiences from the Las Vegas strip to the Caribbean isles. We’re thrilled to have her here at Inside Outside, the Gulf Coast’s premier specialty design house.

With deep roots in Louisiana, I bring both local insight and decades of hands-on experience to every project. I attended Delgado Community College, where I studied interior design—laying the foundation for a career that seamlessly blends real estate expertise with design-driven vision.
For over 30 years, I’ve worked in both residential and commercial real estate, specializing in new construction and development. Throughout my career, I’ve partnered closely with builders, offering my design expertise to elevate each property and ensure our homes stand out in a competitive market.
My approach focuses on creating spaces that are not only functional, but also visually compelling and market-ready. I’m also a proud mother of two beautiful daughters and grandmother to five energetic grandsons—who definitely keep life fun and full of energy!

Kiara brings a professional edge to the countertop world. She graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi, holding a bachelor’s degree in business management. She enjoys learning the business side of operations and has applied that knowledge as a realtor, event planner and now here at Inside Outside Kitchen and Bath.
She is the kind of person who, if she doesn’t know the answer, she’ll take the time to find it because no one knows everything, and every moment is an opportunity to learn. Much of what Kiara does happens behind the scenes, while also supporting the front line whenever needed. She works closely with our team to navigate challenges and ensure everything comes together, whether in the shop, the office, or alongside our valued vendors.
Outside of work, she enjoys the beach, decorating for events, attending concerts as she is a lover of all thing’s music, but just relaxing at home watching movies holds the same value as a good day. She values peace and just the little things.
Whether working behind the scenes or directly with clients, Kiara’s focus is always on creating a smooth process and a positive experience from start to finish.

Derek Murphy is a man of many hats. Working in various parts of the kitchen design industry, he vigorously applies his talents to make dreams reality.
Derek is not afraid to get hands on with a project, both in the showroom and the shop. He has a flair for dramatic colors and sleek monochromatic design. Don’t let his love of impact fool you, he can match even the most simple tastes with ease.
Derek likes to spend time with friends and family playing games and enjoying life. He also has a wonderful singing voice that he uses weekly at his family’s church.

Inside Outside installed our kitchen countertops years ago and when it was time to update our wet bar and bathrooms we knew exactly who to call! They have a great selection and are super knowledgeable about all of their products. Their showroom is gorgeous and is a great source of inspiration for all of your projects. We had kitchen and bathroom countertops done in our condo. Inside Outside Kitchen and Bath helped us with countertop selection and had an abundant supply of samples in their showroom to choose from. They walked us through the entire process and were detailed in explaining how they would accomplish our specific request for the kitchen counters. This past Friday 2 of their installers showed up to install our countertop, side splashes and a piece for a bump out in our bathroom. These guys had been working all day they got to my house around 6 and still had another installation after they left us. I was thinking “ I know they are tired I just hope they do a good job.” I DID NOT have to worry. These guys were awesome! They were so professional and courteous. They acted like we were the first customers of the day and they had no other place to be. The countertop and splashes were perfectly cut so the lines would match and not look strange. The staff we dealt with from our salesman on up were so easy to deal with and so helpful. What a great experience!! My sister and I recommended this company to anyone wanting quality work. Thanks to all of you.

All of the staff was very accommodating...from greeting us when we came in the door, to helping us find the material we were hoping to find and to the timely follow-up contact with us! Can't say enough good things about this fabulous, honorable, professional, knowledgeable company! They saved my kitchen from an unscrupulous, lying contractor. Had to re-do cabinets, match obscure hardware and glass, but most of all they created the most dramatic island and golden glass back splash! Everyone who see the end result is awed! Such unique, quality products and meticulous installation! Kitchen but all the bathrooms as well. I depended heavily on their good, professional advice and their patience with my decision making was unending :). Soon as I get better photographs, I'll add them because words do not do proper justice to what they created. I am so delighted with the outcome - in spite of the sad contractor saga. Costs were absolutely reasonable as there were selections to fit almost any budget.

Really don't know where to begin. Excellent company, customer service and products. Inside Outside helped us choose our granite and all the tile for our kitchen, baths, and floors. We could not be happier with the service we received and quality of their products. We had issues with our first builder, everyone at Inside Outside went out of their way to help us get thru a difficult time. This builder made some disparaging remarks about this company on their facebook page and they were totally false statements. Inside Outside designed my first kitchen and bath 25 years ago and did an incredible job on my 2nd home. Inside Outside is where you want to go for quality products, great customer service and a company that stands behind their work. 5 stars is not enough for our experience. We love Inside Outside and everything they stand for.
I did not know anything about stone and where to even start with choosing counters for my house. The process was so simple and smooth. The sales rep/designer helped choose the perfect stone to accommodate our remodel as well as the amount. The counters look amazing!
